Sailing Holidays in Corsica

Aramon is my 40 foot Bavaria 39 built in 2006 and fully refurbished in 2017. She will win no races, but is safe, comfortable, and easy to run. She is very well equipped with a dinghy, paddle-board, hammock, and a barbecue. Constant ho water and an internet connection are part of the package.

Joining me is quite different to chartering a yacht and then contracting a skipper to do the sailing. You are there as new found friends and we all "muck in" to run the boat. The shopping is done by common agreement. When you arrive, it will be stocked with all the basics and the "deal" is that what is consumed is roughly replaced. 

 

In addition to food and drink, all cruise costs are for your account. Marina costs are moderate in Corsica; fuel consumption will be negligible; food and drink are both more expensive than in continental France, and restaurants do not come cheap, but are good. Local ice cream is usually better than that in Italy!

 

We do not do cabin charters. You book the whole boat and your party can occupy one or two cabins. The two spacious aft double cabins are for our guests, together with the large main head (bathroom) that has a separate shower cubicle. If there are just two of you, the other cabin will be kept empty.
